This page describes what the website at metroon.ai itself records when you visit it. That is a different question from what the Metroon app does on your Mac, which is covered by the app's own Privacy Policy.

This is not the app's privacy policy

The Privacy Policy is written and owned by the team responsible for the app, and it describes what happens on your Mac: local storage, cloud Citizens, API keys, and the app's own optional analytics. It is published as they wrote it and this website does not edit it.

That policy does not, and cannot, describe what happens when your browser loads this website. This page exists to cover that separately, because the two are genuinely different systems: one runs on your Mac, the other runs on a web host.

What a visit to this website can involve

The public site is a set of static pages with no analytics script, no tracking pixel, no advertising, and no third party embed. It does not set a tracking cookie.

Requests to this website are served by a hosting provider, and that provider writes ordinary request logs as part of running the service. A request record can include things like the page you asked for, the time of the request, your browser's user agent string, and a client IP address.

If you request Metroon updates

The updates form sends your email address to a server-side function on metroon.ai. That function adds the address to a Metroon list in Resend, which stores it and processes it to send Metroon updates. The browser does not send the form directly to Resend.

The address is used to send Metroon updates and for nothing else. It is not used for advertising or sold.

Every update includes an unsubscribe link. Sending stops immediately when you unsubscribe. An automated check runs daily to find unsubscribed addresses and delete those still verified as unsubscribed in the Metroon Updates list. Your address is deleted from the updates list within 30 days.
